Little life, a deep mana pool, and no dependence on weapon damage: the Sorceress is the game's dedicated elemental caster, and she stays alive through distance and mobility rather than armor. Teleport, which sits partway up the Lightning tree, is the movement skill nearly every build converges on, and it is why Sorceresses often train Lightning skills even when their damage comes from another element. Her gear priorities follow the same logic, favoring faster cast rate, mana sustain, and reductions to enemy resistance over anything physical.

Fire Spells climbs from Fire Bolt through Fire Ball, Fire Wall, and Meteor to the Hydra totem, which keeps damage on the field without further attention. Cold Spells is the cautious tree: Glacial Spike, Blizzard, and Frozen Orb hold packs in place while Cold Mastery strips away the resistance that would otherwise blunt them. Lightning Spells strikes fastest, from Charged Bolt and Nova to Chain Lightning and Thunder Storm, and it carries most of the class's utility as well, including Static Field, Telekinesis, Teleport, and Energy Shield.

Monster immunities are the constraint that shapes the class. Anything immune to a build's single element cannot be hurt by it without outside help, so many characters split points across two trees or keep a second weapon set for the missing element. The named builds mark those compromises: the Blizzard Sorceress, the Meteorb pairing Fire and Cold, the Hydra Sorceress, and the Nova or Chain Lightning variants, each defined by how much it can still spend on synergies after Teleport and Warmth.
